Doris Haire

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Haire will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA. Officiating will be Reverend Charles Clark.Interment will follow at Cassell Cemetery in Converse, LA. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the funeral home. Mrs. Haire was born on November 6, 1929 in Converse, LA to William Melvin and Lily Pearl Bennett, who precede her in death. She passed away on March 12, 2016 at Southern Hills Health Care in Shreveport, LA. She graduated from Converse High School where she played soft ball and excelled a pitcher. Mrs. Haire enjoyed fishing, reading, and riding country roads. She loved going out to eat, especially for catfish. Mrs. Haire is preceded in death by her husband Larry Haire; sister, Annie Ruth Bennett; son, Larry Clifford Golden; son-in-law, Lyndon Zacheis; granddaughter Patsy Warschak, and great granddaughter, Keara Litton. She is survived by sons, Roger Wayne Golden and wife Mary of Magnolia Texas, Johnny Calvin Golden and wife Sandra of Shreveport, La; daughters, Bonnie Hunter of Frierson, LA; Cindy Stoker of Mansfield, LA, and Leslie Zachies of Bossier City, LA. Also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Matthew Golden, Zack Golden, John Tedder Jr, Tony Johnson, Tyler Grand, and Osborn Turner. The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Southern Hills Health Care for their care and kindness to our mother. Also to Life Path Hospice for their compassionate care, and Louisiana Home Health for their loyalty and compassion.
