MOORINGSPORT, LA - A graveside service for Doris Hinkie, 73, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA. Doris was born June 1, 1943 in Kelly, LA and died June 21, 2016 in Mooringsport, LA. She was a homemaker and loved to fish and work crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Doris is survived by her husband, Phillip E. Hinkie of Mooringsport, LA; sons, John Terrel Brown of Monroe, LA, Phillip E. Hinkie, Jr. and wife, Traci of Frierson, LA; daughters, Tracy Curtis and husband, Keven of Greenwood, LA, Krista Foster of Shreveport, LA; sister, Gloria Jean Sanders; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
