Shreveport, La- A funeral service will be held for Doris Ezell Keene, 90, 12 noon Friday, May 22, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Reverend Mark Crook. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Bernice, Louisiana. Visitation with the family will be held 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at the funeral home. Doris was born on January 28, 1925 in Farmerville, Louisiana and passed away May 20, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; Artie Green and Loni Pearl Smith Jinks; loving husband, Ervin Keene; son, Gayle Keene; sisters, Selma Cofield and Eva Johnson; brother, Paul Jinks; and great-granddaughter, Brittany Keene. Left to cherish her beautiful memory is her son, Tommy Keene and wife, Diane; daughters, Annette Crook and husband, Ron, Linda Hudson and husband, Wendell and Judy Free; siblings, Marie Farmer, Beatrice Gray, Vaughn Jinks, and Lamar Jinks; grandchildren, Robin Williamson, Brady Keene, Aaron Free, LeAnn Free, Todd Free, Cheri Wallace, Stacy Overstreet, Dana Yount, Paula Kline, Pam Lormand, Bobby Herring and Jennifer Ward; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Honoring Doris as pallbearers are Dylan Ward, Alex Kline, Bobby Herring, Brady Keene, and Jerry Keene.
