Doris Faye Rotolo

A Celebration of Mass for Doris Rotolo will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation with the family will be at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. Officiating will be Father Francis Kamau. Interment will follow at Forest Park West in Shreveport, LA. Doris was born on August 22, 1936 to Florence and Wilmer Gongre in Natchitoches, LA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years Peter J. Rotolo, Jr. and sister, Marguerite Daley. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Peter J. Rotolo, III and spouse Philip Herring; daughters, Kathy and husband Alex Stockmon; Brenda Robeaux; Susan and husband Dennis Robinson; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother, Edward and wife Fran Gongre and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wants to give thanks to the staff at Magnolia Manor Nursing and Rehab and MICU at University Health.
