Dorothy Cloud

Funeral services celebrating the life of Dorothy Cloud, 73, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born June 21, 1951 to Ruben and Gertrude Melton in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

She lived a quiet simple life. Dorothy worked hard all her life and was able to retire quietly, enjoying her last years with her family and friends. Dorothy was definitely a kind person with a heart of gold, and she loved everyone she knew.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Gertrude Melton; husband, Kenneth Cloud; brother, Ruben Wayne Melton; and her in-laws, Julian and Eva Cloud.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Julian Cloud (Stacey) and Kenneth Cloud (Leah); sister, Kathy Melton; grandchildren, Shelby Cloud, Lane Cloud, Kiley Britt (Dallas), Charmaine Cloud, and Julie Cloud; and great grandchildren, Benson Ingram, Adley Mercer, Baylor Britt and Helen Britt.
