Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Dorothy Marie Jordan, 92, will be 10:30 AM, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Larry Pridmore officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Dorothy was born in Mansfield, LA to Louis and Della Kontz DeVoltz and passed away in Mansfield, LA. She was member of Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield, LA. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being a homemaker and providing for her family.

Preceding Dorothy in death were her husbands Cecil J. Johnson and Clarence "Tob" M. Jordan; brothers Louis A. DeVoltz and Pug DeVoltz; and granddaughter Tammy Johnson Pyles.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son James Cecil Johnson and wife Janette "Janice"; granddaughter Linda Adams and husband Robert; great grandchildren Erin Pyles Smith and husband Robbie, Patrick Tyler Adams, and Olivia Pyles Harrell and husband Joshua; great-great grandchildren Jordyn Alexis Liles, Gavyn Rivers Smith, and Tristyn Smith.

Those honoring Dorothy as pallbearers will be Gary Calhoun, Bubba Woods, Tommy Mason, Ernie Pyles, Bob Latham, and Bubba English.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Southside Baptist Church, 7329 Highway 509, Mansfield, LA 71052.
