Dorothy Margaret Woodard Boddie

Dorothy Margaret Woodard Boddie was born November 11th, 1931, in Taylor Louisiana to Arthur and Flossie Woodard. She married Allen Boddie on January 17th 1952. She passed away peacefully at home on February 5th 2024.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 7th at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden from 4:00 to 7:00. Church service will be held at Taylor Baptist Church in Taylor Louisiana at 2:00 on Thursday February 8, 2024. Interment will follow at Woodard Cemetery. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Infant daughter Janet Boddie, sister Carrie Vanette Woodard Kent and one Great granddaughter. 

She is survived by her husband of 72 years Allen Boddie, son Tommy Boddie (Jean), his son's Shane (Deserie), AJ, Heath, Tim and Zander. Daughter Sandra (Cissie) Hughes, her son Terry (Shaunda). She also has 4 great grandson's, 1 great granddaughter, 1 Great great granddaughter, and nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Terry and Garrett Boddie, Mike Basham, Charles Boddie, Shane, and Zander Boddie. 

Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Copeland, Tony Copeland, Neal Copeland, Bob Igo and Don Thomas.
