Funeral services for Dorothy Reeves Ervin Snelgrove will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Steven Smithson. Interment will follow at Plain Dealing Cemetery in Plain Dealing, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Dorothy was born January 3, 1930 in Sibley, Louisiana and entered into rest June 21, 2014 in Minden, Louisiana. Her 1^st husband William C. Ervin, 2^nd husband Elbert Snelgrove, grandson Robert Ervin, son-in-law Jack Barmore and daughter-in-law Dale Ervin preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons Robert Ervin and wife Carolyn of Minden, William Ervin, Jr. and wife Edie of Roseville, California, JoAnne Barmore of Etters, Pennsylvania, sister Marie Reeves Hood and husband Doy of Sarepta, brother Wayne Reeves and wife Ann of Springhill, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Clay Reeves, Dale LaClair, Elvin Ervin, Rocky Dunn, and Robert Dalton.
