Funeral services celebrating the life of Dorothy Bedell will be 2:00 PM on April 28, 2018 at Bayou Scie United Methodist Church in Zwolle, LA on Hwy. 120 with Reverend Jim Phaup officiating. The family will receive friends at the Bayou Scie United Methodist Church from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday April 27, 2018.   Dorothy Bedell Taylor was born on April 20, 1930 to Bailey Bedell and Mae Marr Pruitt. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 26, 2018 at the age of 88.   She is survived by her son Wade Lynwood. Taylor of Zwolle, LA; sister Francis Hayes of Zwolle, LA; Grandchildren Jonathan Taylor & wife Brooke of West Monroe, LA, Stephen Taylor & wife Sue Ann of Zwolle, & Amanda Martinez & husband Danny of Zwolle; Great-Grandchildren McKenna Taylor, Ryland Taylor, Jackson Taylor, & Aleah Taylor all of West Monroe, LA.   She is preceded in death by her parents; & her spouse of 44 years Jewel Taylor.   Pallbearers honoring the life of Dorothy Bedell Taylor are Stephen Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, Ryland Taylor, Danny Martinez, David Wilson, & Travis Wilson.
