Vivian, LA - Memorial services celebrating the life of Mrs. Dossie Darlene Bryant, age 55 will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 6, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Mark Crook, pastor of Trees Baptist Church.

Dossie was born in Shreveport, LA on May 27, 1960 to Charles Raymond and Sally Terry Brumley and passed away on May 2, 2016 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was of the Baptist Faith and did House Cleaning.

Dossie is survived by her son, Freddy Gene Bryant, Jr and wife Tracie of Sarepta, La; daughters, Shadie Thomas and husband, Anthony of Vivian, LA and Savannah Bryant and Chris Smith of Plain Dealing, LA.; brothers, Charles Raymond Brumley, Jr. and wife Theresa of Blanchard, LA and John Bradley Weed and wife, Dawn of Texarkana, AR; sister Laura "Snooks" LaFitte and husband, Rodney of Blanchard, LA. She is also survived by her special grandson, Tristen Bryant, Vivian, LA, and grandchildren, Logan Thomas of Vivian, LA, Keely Thomas of Vivian, LA, Lilly Bryant of Sarepta, LA, Charlie Rae Smith of Plain Dealing, LA; step-grandchildren, Tuff and Rowdy Gore of Sarepta, LA and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
