Dossie James Roton, Jr.

Bossier City, LA Dossie James "Bebo" Roton, Jr. Dossie, or "Bebo" as everyone knew him, passed away August 3, 2016 at the Northwest Louisiana War Veteran's Home in Bossier City, LA. He was born August 20, 1927 to Dossie James Roton and Pearl Parker Roton. Bebo retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad with more than 30 years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and squirrel hunting in the "Dorcheat Bottoms". He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jackie, son-in-law Leonard, 7 brothers and sisters, Era, Eva, Marie, Paul, Pauline, Lois, and Lamar. He is survived by his children Sharon Jobron, Richard Roton (Jackie) and Patricia Parker (Steve); 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Minden Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with his nephew Jerry Roten officiating.
