Doyle Hunter Brazzell

Doyle Hunter Brazzell, 85, of DeBerry, Texas  entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2023. He was born on September 9, 1937 in  Jonesville, Louisiana to Darl Brazzell and Willie Mae Trislier Brazzell.

Memorial services honoring the life of Doyle will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home-2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118. Officiating the service will be Bro. John Harp.

Doyle was a graduate of Buck-Eye High School and attended Centenary College studying Geology. He worked for Arkla Gas and Caterpillar Tractor retiring after twenty-five years with General Electric. He was married to Nancy Frances Brazzell for sixty-five years and was a wonderful and devoted  father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In his free time, Doyle enjoyed teaching his grandchildren about the Lord,  woodworking, whittling, playing the guitar, completing word puzzles, watching Scooby Doo on  television, and eating fish at  Johnny’s Seafood. His passion in life was spreading the Lord’s word, singing gospel hymns, and prayer time. He loved the entire books of Psalms. To know Doyle was to love him. He will forever be remembered as a kind hearted, soft spoken, cheerful, thoughtful, and humble man.

Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Darl and Willie Mae Brazzell. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy Frances Brazzell; his children, Sheila Ann Stokes, Pamela Sue Hyatt, Harley Wayne Brazzell, Karen Marie Brazzell, Dianne Lynn Logue; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and his sister, Doris Morace.
