D.Q. "Dick" Lucky, Jr. SHREVEPORT, LA - Services celebrating the life of D.Q. "Dick" Lucky, Jr., 85, will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at The Oaks of Louisiana Chapel with Father Andrew Comeaux officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to service at The Marketplace Clubhouse at the Oaks of Louisiana. Dick was born on September 9, 1930 in Shreveport, LA and passed away after a sudden illness on January 1, 2016. He graduated from Fair Park High School. Dick retired after 32 years of service from Pioneer Bank and was a member of the Queensborough Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, D.Q. Lucky, Sr. and Jewel Black Lucky. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Cherry Sue Holley Lucky; daughters, Cherilyn Lucky Winterton, and Connie Lucky Lorant and husband Jet; son, Jack Lucky and spouse Tim Myles; grandchildren, Hunter Winterton and wife Kate, Anne Winterton, Judson Lorant and wife Kim, Colby Lorant and wife Calli; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Holly Winterton, and Mize Lorant. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Edward Anne and husband Steve Muzos and numerous nieces and nephews.
