YUKON, OK - Services for Duane Keith Broadway, 23, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. Sunday until service time at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Ronney Joe Webb of First Baptist Church, Shreveport. Interment will be at Forest Park East Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA.
Duane was born on October 18, 1993 to Keith and Renee Broadway in Shreveport, LA and went to meet the Lord on January 31, 2017 in Yukon, OK. Duane attended New Church and was an active member of the Celebrate Recovery program. He lived life to the fullest by enjoying the outdoors, riding horses, and fishing. Duane\'s greatest joy in life came from his daughter McKinley Lane. Duane had recently moved to Yukon, Oklahoma to live with his sister, Kasey and brother-in-law, Byron and begin his new journey in life. Duane was a very kindhearted and loving father, son, brother, and friend to many. He will be missed immensely.
Preceding Duane in death were his father, Ivan Keith Broadway, Sr., his maternal grandfather, Bobby L. Greene, and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Joyce Broadway. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, McKinley Lane Miers; mother, Renee Greene Broadway; maternal grandmother, Doris Greene; sisters, Kasey Brown and husband, Byron, Lindsey Gilreath and Leah Broadway; brothers, Dillon Broadway, Dawson Broadway, and Ivan Keith Broadway, Jr.; nieces, Tori Gilreath, and Ivey Broadway; nephew, Evan Broadway; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Honoring Duane as pallbearers will be Fisher Nance, Michael Bryant, Matt Williams, Ramon Omes, Demarcus Mariland, and Dylan Baudoin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Langston, Justin Greene, and Michael Greene.
