E. A. Reese

Celebration of life and going home service for E. A. Reese, 86, will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Brother Jerry Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Hand Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Coushatta chapel from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. E. A. Reese was born June 19, 1930, in Saline, LA, to the late Elvin Andrew and Arlibelle Thomas Reese and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 29, 2016, in Coushatta, LA. During his lifetime, he served 20 years in the United States Army. He then worked for George Wise until he opened his own television repair shop in Mansfield. After several years, he closed the repair shop and went to work for the Coushatta Country Club running the pro shop. He was an avid golfer until two years before his death. Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Jimmy Reese; two sisters, Sherril Guin and Virene Bedgood; and one brother, Shelton Reese. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 67 years, Loretta Reese of Coushatta, LA; two children, Ronald Reese of Baton Rouge, LA and Sharon Coker of Coushatta, LA; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Chico, the nurses and aides at Christus Coushatta Health Care for their care to our loved one.
