BOSSIER CITY, LA - Earline Flurry Tatum age 89, was called home to Heaven on November 20, 2016 after a short illness. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Rev. Bob Moore will be officiating. Interment will follow at Weldon Baptist Church Cemetery in Bernice, LA. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Earline was born July 22, 1927 in Weldon, LA to Tommy Joe Flurry and Dollie Green Flurry. Earline loved the Lord and served him faithfully. She also loved putting puzzles together and reading, but more than anything she loved playing with babies, pets, her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Earline was preceded in death by her parents, Dollie and Tommy Flurry, son, Thomas Paul Tutt, daughters, Susan Elaine Pigott and Barbara Jeanette Hicks, sister, Bonnie Wiltcher and brother, Dale Flurry. She is survived by her son Sidney Tatum and wife, Kathy; daughters, Henrietta Taylor and husband, Bubba, Wanda Dian Danner and husband, David, and Connie Lout; 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Reeves and husband, Bob, and Pat Price and husband, Ron; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Honoring Earline as pallbearers will be, Steven Tutt, Jimmy Ledford, Bryan Pigott, Kevin Tatum , Kenny Tatum and Phillip Pigott.
