Eddie Hill

Eddie Hill of Keithville, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on June 6, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1945 in Atlanta, Texas to Edward Hill and Alma Gardner Hill.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2023 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home-2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118. Funeral services honoring the life of Eddie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Tony Morvan. Interment will be held at Rose-Neath Cemetery-5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, LA 71111.

Eddie loved to deer hunt, fish, watch western movies, and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and his chihuahuas.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Alma Hill; and his granddaughter, Courtney Scruggs. Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 41 years, Fay Hill; his children, Calvin Gullette “Darlene” of Shreveport, LA, Belinda Davis of Willis, TX, Steven Hill “Tamara” of Willis, TX, Rebecca Palmer “John Darbonne” of Washington, LA, Rory Gullette of Keithville, LA, and Tammy Turner of Houston, TX; his brothers, Ronnie Hill, Donnie Hill, Melvin Hill, and Perry Hill; his sisters, Joann Daniels and Charlene Schmitt; his special sister-in-law, Elizabeth Boyter; along with 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Honoring Eddie as pallbearers will be Darrell Gilland, Dozy Hayes, Doug Hayes, Steve Barron, Ronald Cruse, and Buddy Herzog. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be John Darbonne.
