Eddie Leroy Mitchell

Eddie Leroy Mitchell, 83, of Shreveport, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2022. Eddie was born on May 29, 1939, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert Leroy Mitchell and Frances Parsons Mitchell.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Leroy Mitchell and Frances Parsons Mitchell; sister, Janice McFerren; son, Eddie Eugene Mitchell; and stepmother, Marvie Gay Cole Mitchell. He is survived by his daughters, Suzanne Mitchell Cobb, and Deborah McAnelly and husband Gary; grandson, Jade Cobb; and great-grandson, Aiden Cobb. Eddie loved spending time with his children.

A visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home-2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118. Officiating the service will be Scott Etheridge. A private burial will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery-4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109.
