Funeral services honoring the life of Eddy V. Lilley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Dr. Jimmy Dan Lilley. A visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Eddy was born on May 8, 1943, in Mitchell, Louisiana to Sidney Lee Lilley and Myrtis Dans Lilley. He entered into rest on Friday, July 23, 2021, in Mansfield, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pauline Graves; brothers, William, Oda, Marshall, S.L. Jr., Douglas, Frank, Maurice, Sampson, David, Charles, Johnny; beloved in-laws, Henry and Opal Scott, Leo Norris and Dolores Howell. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Linda Scott Lilley of Mansfield, Louisiana; son, Shane Lilley and wife Amanda of Monroe, Louisiana; daughter, Sherry Brumley and husband Dwayne of Mansfield, Louisiana; grandchildren, Charley Cox (Brian), Scott Brumley (Cally), Jessica Brumley (Ben), Destiney Lilley, Jacob Lilley, Micah Lilley; great-grandchildren, Logan Cox, Trace Cox, Keegan Cox, Dawson Cox, Cody Cox, Callen Brumley, Mattie Jayne Brumley, Case Brumley, Gus Richardson, and Aubrey Richardson; brothers, Dr. Jim Lilley and wife Bonnie of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, Raymond Lilley of Shreveport, Louisiana, Joseph Lilley and wife Barbara of Converse, Louisiana, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Honoring Eddy as pallbearers will be Brian Cox, Scott Brumley, Ben Richardson, Jacob Lilley, Jody Winkler, Chris Lilley, Jason Lilley, and Brad Craig.
