Graveside services will be held for Edith Chlorine Basinger, age 84, at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Old Saline Cemetery. Visitation will be held from Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Arcadia.
Chlorine was born May 16, 1933, in Saline LA, to Melvin Logan and Dora Thrasher Logan. She passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, in Arcadia, LA. She had worked as a Teacher's Aide at Saline High School.
Chlorine is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Dora Logan, husband, William Earl Basinger, sister, Janell Page and granddaughter, Mariah Heron.
She is survived by her children, Ricky Basinger and wife Dawn, Brenda Hill and husband Gary and Jeanie Basinger, brother Jimmy Ray Logan and wife Louise, grandchildren Heather Smith and husband Stacy, Eddie Basinger and wife Tiffani, Casey McCaa and husband Robert, and Brad Heron and wife Amy, by 8 great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
