Edith Mae McCormick

Funeral services for Edith Mae McCormick, 65, will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held January 3, 2024 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville at 12:30 p.m. Officiating the service will be Dr. Murry Hodge.

Edith was born on July 14, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas and passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Edith was a resident of Greenwood, Louisiana. She was a beautician for many years with a large customer base. She thoroughly enjoyed her occupation and visiting with her customers that became her close friends.

Edith is survived by her husband, Albert McCormick, Jr. They had been married for 14 wonderful years. She leaves behind numerous other extended family members and friends.

Edith will be greatly missed. Her family will forever love and cherish her memory.
