With hard work and perseverance, he was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility within the firm. Ed managed offices in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Houston TX, as well as Lafayette and Shreveport, LA. He was named the company's "Manager of the Year" in 1977. Ed retired following 47 years of distinguished accomplishments. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maybelle and Herbert Berridge, brother, J.D. Berridge, and former wife, Patricia Parker.
