Burnitt, Jr., 86, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Jimmy Price officiating following Converse Cemetery, in Converse, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday September 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM Edward was born July 28, 1929 in Kinder, LA to Edward Sylvester and Agness Marcantel Burnitt and passed away September 12, 2015 in Converse, LA. Preceding Edward in death is his father, Edward S. Burnitt, Sr; mother, Angess Marcantel Burnitt; sisters, Mildred Bell, Deloris Hines; brother, Abner Burnitt; son, Brian Burnitt; and grandson, Michael Broxson. Those left behind to cherish is his memory is his wife of 56 years Paula Burnitt; sons, John Edward Burnitt and wife Darlene, Darien Lee Burnitt and wife Brigida, Paul Conley Burnitt and wife Anita; daughter, Sophie Jolene Broxson and husband Terry; sisters, Ruth Hesser, Rose Swain; brothers, Bobby Burnett, John Burnitt; grandchildren, Alicia Guidry, Cory Broxson, Alan Burnitt, Jonathan Burnitt, Ethan Burnitt, James Burnitt, Elizabeth Burnitt, Sarah Garrett, Hanna Burnitt, Jessica Broomfield, Brooke Ebarb, Brittany Solley, Estefania Peñas; and 10 great grandchildren.
