Edward Clarence Tuggle

Edward Clarence Tuggle, age 80, of Mooringsport, Louisiana died Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Ed, son of Edward and Eva Carter Tuggle was born March 26, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana as the third of four children. Jean Tuggle Laster, Kay Tuggle Kline, and his twin sister, Edwina Tuggle Friday. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Jean Laster and husband, Huey and his sister, Kay. Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Deanna Carmella Tuggle; his son, Joe Tuggle and wife, Erica Patterson Tuggle; their daughters, Kelsey, Lauren, and Jillian and his son, Trey Tuggle and wife, Amy Addison Tuggle; their children, Hunter, Jeremy, and Allison, and his twin sister, Edwina Tuggle Friday. Ed graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 1959. He served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam and during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a Past Master and 50 year member of Blanchard Masonic Lodge #447 F. & A.M. He was a lifelong firearms and outdoors instructor teaching thousands of people in his work with the Caddo Sheriff\'s Department, Wildlife and Fisheries, Youth Hunter Education Challenge, and Becoming and Outdoor Woman. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Shriner\'s Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.
