Edward "Ed" H. White, Sr.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Edward “Ed” White will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Heflin Baptist Church in Heflin, Louisiana with Bro. Mike Hawkins, Bro. Joe Lynn Robinson, and Bro. Ronnie Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Ed was born November 21, 1938, in Lawhon, Louisiana and met his Lord and Savior on January 5, 2024, in Heflin, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Evelyn White and sister, Drucilla Reeves.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann B. White; son Hewitt White and wife Sherrie; daughters, Terry Warren and Kelly White; sister, Lady Jane Patton; brother, Claude White and wife Martha; grandchildren, T.J. Tharpe and wife Jana, Cheree Cummings and husband Kyle, Mackenzie Warren and wife Courtney, Lindsey Powell and husband Scott, Coulson White and wife Meagan, and Ellen White and fiancé Cameron Ross; great-grandchildren, Tyler Tharpe and fiancée Carley Morgan, Trevor Tharpe, Brayson Cummings, Breelyn Cummings, Nettie Ann Powell, Grey Warren, Wade Powell, and awaiting arrival of John Coulson White; great great-grandchild, Emory Mae Tharpe, and a host of nieces and nephews.
