SHREVEPORT, LA - Eleanor "Gail" Daugherty, 78, born in Waldo, Arkansas, longtime resident of Shreveport, LA passed away March 14, 2017 after a valiant fight with cancer. Visitation will be held Friday, March 17^th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Funeral Home, Stamps, AR. Interment will follow at Waldo Cemetery in Waldo, AR. Gail was preceded in death by her father, N.L. Eddy; mother, Dorothy Hay Higdon. She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Edward Daugherty; one son, Douglas Daugherty; granddaughter, Taylor Daugherty and one precious great-grandson, Jaysen Daugherty. Honoring Gail as pallbearers will be Mark Rhoades, Chris Agee, Todd Duhon, Coby Cook, Jay Pittman and Tony Pittman.
