COUSHATTA, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Elizabeth Louise Prudhome Hubbard, 76, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Coushatta with Rev. Mike Fort of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, June 29, 2018.
Elizabeth was born on May 13, 1942 in Shreveport, LA. She was the daughter of Robert Eugene and Violet Garrett Prudhome, and passed away June 28, 2018 in Coushatta.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Peter Cade "Orlean" Hubbard; son, William Shane Hubbard; daughter, Patricia Ann Hubbard; her parents; brothers, John B. Prudhome, Wilmer Lee Prudhome, William Terry Prudhome and Thomas Mearl Prudhome; and her sister, Ottie Lee Prudhome Jones.
She is survived by her loving companion, Billy Russell, Sr.; sons, Gary and wife Joy "J.D." Hubbard, Timothy and wife Ruth Hubbard, all of Coushatta, and Bill Russell, Jr., of DeBerry, TX; sister, Ida M. Giddens of Haughton, LA; brothers, Donald and wife Brenda Prudhome of Shreveport and Troy and wife Bonnie Prudhome of Texarkana, AR; grandchildren, Shane M. Hubbard, Cody Hubbard, Whitney Hubbard, Dalton Hubbard, Sarah LaCour, Rachel Smith, Brian Lee & Cody Lee; and 10 great grandchildren.
Honoring Elizabeth as pallbearers will be Cody Lee, Brian Lee, Dalton Hubbard, Dean Cason, Steve Bamburg, and Billy Carpenter.
