Services for Elizabeth N. Murph, 83, will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel, Shreveport, LA, with Brother Ray Boswell officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park East, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the funeral home.
Elizabeth was born March 13, 1933 in Converse, Louisiana to Edwin Donovan Neal and Lolla Belle Eagen Neal and passed away August 16, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Shreveport, LA where she was a second grade Sunday school teacher, sang in the church choir and played the hand bells. Elizabeth was a member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge #54 where she was the Treasurer. She retired as Vice President of bookkeeping in the banking business in Shreveport, LA. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many and will be missed by all who loved her.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her son, Michael D. Murph; daughter-in-law, Connie Murph; grandchildren, Michael Murph, Jr. and wife, Jimi Murph, Melissa Levy and husband, Laban Levy, and Kimberly Kelly and husband, James Kelly Jr.; great-grandchildren, Mikal Murph, Brandon Levy, Peyton Levy; and sister, Gloria Pirrgo; and a host of many other family members.
Honoring Elizabeth as pallbearers will be Michael Murph, Jr., Laban Levy, Jack Robison, Ralph Robison, Wayne Robison, and Jim Wedeberg.
