Graveside Services for Elizabeth Lee Pynes, 92, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA.
Elizabeth was born February 6, 1926 in Casper, Wyoming to Allie May McGrew and Cecil Robert Carlisle and passed at her residence with her family by her side March 7, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas.
She was a labor and delivery nurse for 35 years, and retired after 16 years of service from Wadley Regional Medical Center.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Pynes, and her son Frank G. Welsh. Left to cherish her memory is her son, John Pynes and wife Mary Gail; Granddaughters, Jennifer Bartholomew, and Rhonda Sue Welsh; grandsons, Frank G. Welsh, Jr., William Sean Welsh, and James Eldon Welsh; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Bartholomew, Keenan and Sierra Welsh, Jordan and Lexie Welsh, Faith Primm, and Charles Daniel; and special friends, Marcia Philyaw, and Rose McCoy.
