Elizabeth "Betty" Roden DiGrazia

Elizabeth “Betty” Roden DiGrazia was born March 21, 1931, in Birmingham Alabama, and passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Betty is preceded in death by the love of her life, EnRico Digrazia; parents, William Joseph Roden and Ruth Vaughn Roden and four sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Enrico “Ricky” Jr., Christopher and wife, Jean, Anne Chapman and husband, Pat and Mark DiGrazia; loving grandchildren, Matthew DiGrazia and wife, Niema, Michael DiGrazia, Ryan Chapman and wife, Tomoko, Blake Chapman and wife, Sophie and Anthony DiGrazia; great-grandchildren, Kai Chapman, Austin, Alex and Elizabeth Claire Chapman and a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty retired from LSUHSC with 35 years of service in the Radiology department. She was best known for her wigs, tight skirts, boots, contagious laughter, and her ability to do just about anything she set her mind to.
