Elizabeth Rose Woodard

Elizabeth Rose Rigsby Woodard, 72, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Calhoun, Louisiana. A “Celebration of Life Service” will be held at a later date.

Elizabeth was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on July 26, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John and Hazel Rigsby and passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Calhoun, Louisiana.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Byrd High School. She was very devoted to her family. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, sister, niece, and grandmother. Her favorite hobby was taking care of her grandchildren which she loved from the bottom of her heart. She spent 55 years married to the love of her life, Neal Woodard.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Christi Woodard; brothers, Eddie Rigsby, James Rigsby and John Harold Rigsby. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Cynthia Woodard; grandchildren, Christian Reyna, Johnathon Reyna, Christina Woodell; and cousin, David Rigsby and wife, Carolyn.

Elizabeth will be terribly missed by her family. They will always treasure the wonderful times they shared together.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to River of Life Assembly of God Church.
