Ellis Bruno Richard

Funeral services for Ellis Bruno Richard will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Brother Chad Hardbarger.

Ellis Bruno Richard, 81, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024. He was born on May 29, 1943, to Louie and Grace Richard. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, and a friend to so many who knew him.

Ellis worked hard and faithfully for the Railroad for 36 years and made numerous friends. He also owned and operated Richard Builders since 1979, which was his father’s business. He was taught everything he knew by his father as well. He had an innumerable number of customers that became his dear friends over the years.

Ellis will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and friendly nature. He will be deeply missed by his family and all of his friends.

Ellis was preceded in death by his daughter, Angelique Lynn Richard; granddaughter, Jessica Renee Martin; parents, Louie and Grace Richard; sisters, Monica Denise Richard and Shirley Walker; brother, Terry Robert Richard and all of his grand and great-grandparents along with numerous other family members.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Kimberly Harris Richard; children, Robin Martin and husband, Wayne, Andrea Johnson and husband, Brad, Traci King and Christopher Richard; grandchildren, Angela Lynn Oliver and husband, Jake, Ashley Stephenson and husband, TC, Megan Huddleston and husband, Shawn, Tyler Lindsey and wife, Cassie Jo, Katie Leeper and husband, Lindsey, Noah Roberts, Aaron Richard, and Skyler Richard along with his great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild and brothers, Harold (Kiddy) Richard and wife, Cheryl and Tony Louis Richard.

Honoring Ellis as pallbearers will be Tyler Lindsey, Shawn Huddleston, Clifton Lindsey, Bubba Lindsey, and TC Stephenson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lindsey Leeper, Brad Johnson, Nick Huston, Todd Huston, and numerous Railroad Brothers.
