Elnora M. Brady

Funeral services for Elnora “MawMaw” Brady, 83, will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A private burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Rev. Andrew Brewster.

Elnora was born on November 19, 1941, in Warren, Louisiana to CB and Ollie McNease and passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at home in Bossier City

Elnora was a resident of Bossier City and retired from Lucent Technologies. Her creative spirit was evident in her hobbies of gardening, cooking, and shopping. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they were the light of her life.

Elnora was preceded in death by her parents, C.B. and Ollie McNease; husband, Billy Earl Brady; and son, Stevie Lynn Brady. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ronnie Gene Brady of Keithville, LA; daughter, Sharon Paro and husband, EJ Paro, of Bossier City, LA; granddaughter, Brittany Kirkpatrick and husband, Bryan, of Benton, LA; grandson, Jason Paro and wife, Alexa, of Bossier City, LA; three great-grandchildren, Paisley Kirkpatrick, Weston Kirkpatrick, Knox Paro; and brother, Robert McNease of Shreveport, LA.

Elnora will be terribly missed by her family but her legacy of love will continue to guide us through the rest of our lives.
