Elsie Elizabeth Gleason

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Union Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Floyd Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Elsie was born August 28, 1920, in Grove, Louisiana and entered into rest August 8, 2021, in Springhill, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Gleason, Sr. and her son William E. "Billy" Gleason, Jr. She is survived by her son, Lanny Thomas Gleason; daughter, Rose Marie Gleason both of Minden, sister, Margie Burch of Springhill; granddaughter, Rochon Laverdet; great-grandchildren, Marcell George Laverdet, Ava Laird, and Belynn Laird; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kevin Miller, Lance Thomas, David Lowe, Robert McKenzie, Everett Payne, and Frank Dunn. Honorary pallbearers R.O. Machen and Sharon Tucker.
