Elton O. Smith, 82, of Mansfield, Louisiana entered into eternal rest at his home surrounded by his family on October 30, 2020, in Mansfield, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 9:00 -10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 04, 2020, at the Hunter Magnolia Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Bro Amador Santos. Interment will follow the service at Hunter Magnolia Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. Elton Oliver Smith was born on February 9, 1938, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to James W. Smith & Millie Johnson Smith. Preceding Elton in death is his parents, James & Millie Smith, son, James Carl Smith, and 7 brothers & sisters. He is survived by the love of his life of 62 years, Irene Smith; daughters, Judy Ann Smith Naramore & husband Roger, Belinda Smith Liebgott & husband John and daughter in law, Vickie Smith Badillo and husband Tony, sister, Ruby Smith Williams, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members & many friends. Honoring Elton as pallbearers will be Tanner Smith, David Guffey, Joseph Naramore, Zachery Anderson, Garret Ford, and Darold Bristol.
