Emile William "Bill" Holm

Funeral services for Emile William “Bill” Holm, 91, will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Friday, November 24, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. till the time of service. Officiating will be Bro. David Radford.

Bill was born on March 25, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Yens and Joetta Holm and passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 in Minden, Louisiana.

Bill was a resident of Minden, but spent the majority of his life living in Shreveport where he graduated from Fair Park High School. He joined the Army in 1952. After serving in the military, he worked at United Gas until he retired. Bill and Evelyn were married for 45 years and enjoyed travelling around the country. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family as well as camping and fishing. He was a member of Oakmont Church of God for many years.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; son, Donnie; and brothers, Joe, John, and James. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Evelyn Palmer Holm; daughter, Terri Huff and husband, Joe; three grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed but forever loved.
