Shreveport, La - A funeral service for Emma Jean Scott, 88, will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Michael Scott. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Frazier Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas. Emma was born December 13, 1926 to George B. and Alma H. Norris in Tullos, Louisiana. She passed away on April 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herman O. Scott, son, Herman O. Scott, Jr., and granddaughter, Sandra D. Scott Oliver. She is survived by her sons, Michael O. Scott and wife Mai Scott of Grand Cane, La, and Jonathan Norris Scott of Mooringsport, La, daughters, Patricia L. McCoy and husband William J. McCoy of Grapevine, Tx, and Kathryn M. Martin and husband Arthur Martin of Houston, Tx, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and siblings, Joe Norris and wife Lynette, George B. Norris, Jr. and wife Mary, Ina May Strange, and Norma Jean Morris and husband Lev.
