Minden, LA Funeral services for Emma Leigh Zemaitaitis, 14, will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St Paul Catholic Church in Minden, Louisiana with Father Rothell Price officiating. Interment will follow at Cotton Valley Cemetery in Cotton Valley, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Emma was born July 23, 2003 in Bossier City, Louisiana and entered into rest May 28, 2018 in Memphis Tennessee at St. Jude Children's Hospital following a courageous battle. She was preceded in death by her mother, Michelle Clayton Zemaitaitis. She is survived by her father and step mother Matt and Alana Zemaitaitis of Minden; paternal grandparents, Vera and Louis Zemaitaitis of Loveland, Colorado; maternal grandparents Robert and Lisa Clayton of Heflin; sister, Abby Zemaitaitis of Minden; brothers, Jonah and Preston Zemaitaitis of Minden and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Matt Zemaitaitis, Mike Kenny, Kerry Easley, David McCart, Jr., Richard Reynolds, Chris Youngblood, Dustin Clayton, and Steve Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonah Zemaitaitis, Clayton Reynolds, Robert Clayton, David McCart, and Grady Miller. The family extends a special thanks to The City of Minden, Kerry Easley & The Courtyard, The ACTS Community, Dr. Elizabeth Phillips and Staff, Shreveport St Jude Affiliate and St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN and also special thanks to SIRI for answering Emma's thousands of questions.
