Ethel Maurene Glenn

Shreveport, LA - Maurene Glenn passed away in her sleep on Sunday February 1, 2015 in Pell City, Alabama. She is survived by her son, Jim Glenn; sisters, Billie Rogas and Hope MacDonnell; brother, Ray McMullen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Maurene was born in Greenwood, Louisiana March 20, 1923. She graduated from Greenwood High School in 1941. She married Edwin Elwood Glenn of Shreveport, Louisiana on January 25, 1946. They lived in Austin, Texas for several years and then moved to Dallas, Texas in 1950. They moved to Maydelle, Texas in 1978. Ed Glenn passed away in 1996 and she moved to DeBerry, Texas in 1999. She finally moved at the request of her son Jim to Pell City Alabama in 2012. The funeral will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Providence Road Baptist Church, 11708 Providence Rd, Shreveport, LA. Viewing will be at 1 PM followed by the funeral at 2 PM.
