Eugene "Uncle Son" Travis Sepulvado

Keatchie, LA- Funeral services for Eugene "Uncle Son" Travis Sepulvado, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Ruggs Bluff in Pointe, LA. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at the funeral home. Eugene was born January 13, 1934 in Zwolle, LA to Bush and Marcelina Sepulvado. He passed away on October 21, 2017 in Keatchie, LA. He loved hunting, fishing, playing his guitar, singing, and being with his family. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 53 years, Patsy Sepulvado; and grandson, Brad Williams. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Todd Sepulvado and wife Tammy of Keatchie, LA and Greg Sepulvado and wife Lisa of Huntington, TX; daughters, Charlotte Sepulvado of Keatchie, LA and Rhonda Griffin and husband Roger of Hemphill, TX; Grandchildren, Jesse, Justin, Tyler, Caleb, Shane, Kelli, and Nikki; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel (Sissy) Leone and Charlene Parrie and husband Joe; and brothers, Eldon Sepulvado and wife Betty Jo, Wayne Sepulvado and wife Linnie Ruth, and Roddy (Carl) Sepulvado and wife Rose. Honoring Eugene as pallbearers will be Arnold Sepulvado, Cole Larimore, Freddie Hanson, Christopher Ebarb, and Chris Ebarb. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin, Jesse, Caleb, and Tyler. The family would like to thank Aime Hospice for their wonderful care for Gene and a special thanks to his nurse, Brandy and his aid, Juanita.
