She and Edgar Holomon, Sr. were married on April 13, 1957 and they operated Holomon Plumbing Company for many years. He predeceases her as do her sons James and Paul. She is survived by her son Ed and son in law David, grandchildren Cody (Amber), Chase, Colin (Ashleigh), Devon and three great grands, Isabella (Nanay), Brennon and Briggs.
Eunice was a member of Central Christian Church. Before her health began to decline, she spent countless hours in the kitchen there as well at supporting her husband's Masonic and Shrine lodge. If there was a meeting or engagement, Eunice was cooking.
Later in life, Eunice became a Demo Dolly at Sam's Club, where with her natural love and ability for cooking, she was in her element. Her love of cooking and ability to connect with people stretched over a decade until her health declined and she retired. Yet her love for her Sam's Club family and the friends she made there did not end.
Pallbearers will be David Smith, Mickey Bullock, Bob Bacon, Jeremy Patterson, Jeffery Puckett and Kerry McCann.
Untold thanks are due to her sister of choice, Carolyn Leonard. Her love, care, support and advocacy during the last year of her life and friendship of decades was truly a gift, not just to Eunice, but to her family. We would also like to thank Tomikia Bates, Janet Floyd and Candace Reed, proof there are angels on Earth for the loving nursing care provided.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Forest Park East St. Vincent Avenue with Tom Brown presiding.
