Evelyn Marie Burnley

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral Services for Mrs. Evelyn M. Burnley, 86, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Rev. Doug Allen and Rev. Dale Sauls, of First Baptist Church of Blanchard, will be officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Evelyn was born May 12, 1930 to David and Rosa Carter Sandifer, and passed away May 9, 2017. She was a loving wife and mother and loved the Lord with all her heart. She attended First Baptist Church of Blanchard. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, David and Rosa Carter Sandifer; husband, John C. Burnley, Jr.; along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her son, Michael Burnley; sister, Lestereen Hinton; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Honoring Evelyn as pallbearers will be Doyle Sandifer, Johnny Sandifer, Ronnie Sandifer, Paul Hayes, Edward Murray, and Kevin McClain.
