Keithville, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Evelyn Doris Cowling will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Robert "Bob" Latham officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Mansfield. Evelyn was born on December 3, 1937 to her parents Artie and Mary Blackwell. She is preceded in death by her parents Artie and Mary Blackwell; husband James W. Cowling, Sr.; daughter, Beverly Ann Toups; step-son Edward Cowling; brothers, Norman Blackwell and Ronald Blackwell. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Billy Bolton and wife Michelle, James Cowling, Jr., Mitchell Bolton and wife Cheryl; brother, Gerald Blackwell and wife Irma; grandchildren, Patrick Toups, Melissa Bolton, Brian Toups and wife Katie, Krissy Haney, Ashley Jones; great grandchildren, Tenlee, Anna, Nathan, Allie, Maddy, and Ains. Those honoring the life of Evelyn Doris Cowling as pallbearers will be Justin Taylor, James Taylor, Rodney Blackwell, Robert Blackwell, Corey Calhoun, Bobby Cowling and Jordan James.
