EVELYN OSWALT   SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Evelyn Oswalt, 89, will be held Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose- Neath Southside Chapel. Rev. Dale Sauls of First Baptist of Blanchard will officiate. Interment to follow services at Centuries Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends and loved ones from 12 noon until services. Evelyn was born January 7, 1927 to Gordon Penton and Ida Keen Penton in Bogalusa, La and died December 17, 2016 in Shreveport, La. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband James Paul Oswalt, brother, Lonnie Penton, and daughter-in-law, Donna Oswalt. She is survived by her sons, John Oswalt and wife Linda and Gordon Oswalt and wife Gala; grandchildren, Carissa and husband Tim, Bryan Oswalt and wife Tonya, and Mallory Oswalt; great grandchildren, Lily, Hannah, and Aiden.
