Evelyn Earl Addie Trimble went to be with the Lord Friday, October 30, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana after a lengthy battle with her health. She was born in Atlanta, Texas on October 30, 1932 to Charles Albert and Gussie Endsley Addie. Evelyn grew up in Ida, Louisiana and attended Ida High School where she was Drum Major and Homecoming Queen. She attended Business College in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Evelyn married Bobby Trimble on December 3, 1951 and settled in Oil City, Louisiana where they raised their two children. She was one of the first women deputies for Caddo Parish having worked for the Town of Oil City and the Oil City Housing Authority and later opened her own business to work with fresh flowers for which she had a lifelong love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Jeffrey Lee Trimble. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Ann Trimble Flair and husband, Jon and grandchildren, Sean Charles Flair and Jacquelyn Ann Flair; Theresa Moore, widow of her son; and grandchildren, Matthew Joseph and wife, September Trimble and their son, Jeffrey Trimble; Morgan Leigh Ann Trimble and her children, Adonis and Evelyn Hebert. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery, Smyrna, Texas. The family encourages you to celebrate Evelyn's great love of flowers by sending your loved ones flowers to remind them that you love them.
