Everett Wesley Curtis

MOORINGSPORT, LA - Services for Everett Wesley Curtis, 74, will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Clarence Chism. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Everett was born in Duke, MS on February 22, 1942 to Willie Curtis and Nellie Vaugh Curtis, and passed away on March 5, 2016 in Mooringsport, LA. Everett was an Evangelist, he loved to farm, hunt, but most of all loved God and his family. All that knew him will miss him. Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Paul, Delbert, Alonzo, and Orville Curtis; one sister, Betty Button. Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Theresa Curtis; sons, Everett Curtis, Jr., Keven Curtis and wife Tracy, Samuel Curtis and wife Marlisa, David Curtis and wife Bonnie; daughters, Tammy Curtis and Heath Mathes, Carlita Raybon and husband Brock; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald Curtis and wife Betty, Billy Wayne Curtis and wife Ruby, Johnny Curtis and wife Darlene; sister, Lolita Kohenskey and husband Orval, and Roberta Curtis; and many other relatives and friends.
