Evon Lafitte Burk   KEITHVILLE, LA - Funeral services for Evon Lafitte Burk, 80, will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, November 16, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Munerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Myra, La. Bro. William Valentine of Lakeside Baptist Church and Bro. Mike Scott of Grand Cane Baptist Church will officiate. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 14^th from 6-8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Evon was born December 30, 1935 in Shreveport, La to Vol Cour (Bud) and Bessie Lavada Lafitte and passed on November 12, 2016. Evon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford Dewaine Burk, Sr., six brothers and four sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Clifford (Coonie) Burk, Jr. and Ricky Burk, Sr. and wife Lisa; daughters, Lavada (Sissy) Giddens and husband James; one sister, Grace Young; grandchildren, Stephanie, Shenee' Hayes and husband Fred, Ricky Burk Jr., and wife Whitney, Rocky Burk and wife Megan, Brandi Wilson, Kim Hart, Ryan Burk and wife Jennifer, Tiffany Horne and husband Brandon, Kortney Knighten and husband Michael; great grandchildren, Alexas, Allie, Remi, Kori, Tami, Bethany, Rocky, Jr., Rowdy, Maci, Bailey, Meadow, Branton, Malena, Chloie, Zoie, Devon, Braydon, Breanna, Ryder, and Dillon.
