Fannie G. Bridges

Funeral services for Fannie Camille Gates Bridges, 75, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Bethel Assembly of God with Pastor Ray Holman and Rev. Richard Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Wallace Cemetery near Pleasant Hill, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Fannie was born October 15, 1942 in Pleasant Hill, LA to William "Bill" and Nettie Gates and went to be with her Lord February 13, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Bethel Assembly, a faithful prayer warrior, and had deep love for Jesus and her church. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas Ray Bridges. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Steven R. Bridges and longtime girlfriend, Michelle O'Rourke; granddaughter, Mary Elisabeth Bridges; and great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Jade Kappleman. Serving as pallbearers will be Garland Vines, Richard Sims, Richard Sims, Jr., Kenny Williams, Tommy Williams, and Ronnie Griggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Barnhill, Bob Hughes, and Mitchell Vines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Assembly of God, 5801 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, 71129.
