MARSHALL, TX: A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Fannie Lee Wolfe Cook, age 82, at Rocky Springs Cemetery in Lisbon, LA, on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Larry Sellers, officiating. Mrs. Fannie was born on February 26, 1938, in New Edinburg, AR, to Cordie and Nannie Whittington Wolfe. She entered into rest on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, in Marshall, TX. Mrs. Fannie worked for South Central Bell as an operator for many years. She was a wonderful cook. Her and her husband Billy enjoyed gardening while they lived in Homer. Mrs. Fannie later moved to Marshall to live with one of her sisters and she enjoyed the Bible Studies. Mrs. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Billy" Cook; and sister, Ginger Wolfe. She is survived by her two sisters, Mary Foster and husband Carl of Keatchie, LA, and Esther Dutton of Marshall, TX; five nieces and nephews, Thomas Dutton, Leslie Dutton, Rebecca Foster, David Foster, and Marcus Dutton ; nine great-nieces and nephews; two great-great nieces and nephews; along with numerous friends.
