Fannie "Ellen"' Montgomery

Funeral services for Fannie "Ellen" Montgomery, 72, of Stonewall, will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Living Word Church, 151 Buffalo Rd, Mansfield, LA 71052, with Pastors Paul Floyd, Glenn Rogers, & Buster Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Vowells Mill, LA. Friends and family are reminded that under the COVIC-19 guidelines social distancing and wearing of face masks are mandated. Ellen, the daughter of Laurie and Mary Adams Stanford, was born March 16, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed away October 28, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her biological father, John Tune and her brothers, Butch Stanford and Joe Tune. Ellen worked as a License Practical Nurse for many years. She loved cooking and gardening and was a very active member of the Living Word Church. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Michael Montgomery; children, Vicki Hicks, Daphne Hicks, Michele Arinder, Cheryl Smith and Mindy Ancelet; grandchildren, Ashley Reeser, Brittany Santos, Tomas Santos, Tory Arinder, Chaz Arinder, Caleb Smith, Andrew Smith, Emily Smith, Samuel Smith, Marion Ancelet and Louis Ancelet; great grandchildren, Violet Johnson, Oliver Reeser, Tomas Santos, Lettie Mae Reeser and Renessmee Santos; Sibling, Fay Tune Bailey and Elgie Ray Stanford; numerous extended family and friends. Honoring the Montgomery family by serving as pallbearers will be; Teddy Reeser, Tomas Santos, Kevin Arinder, Kevin Sweeney, Kevin Ryan, Gean Ancelet and Cory Layfield.
